I have spoken to Hyundai and they have confirmed that its a Cyprus import. Also got it confirmed with them that parts are all same price as UK parts and that its the equivalent of the F2 Evolution. Given that I only paid £700 and its in great condition with lots of history and receipts I am going to keep it as got specialist insurance at £450 for the year.0

Could have been sat in a muddy field full of them, I remember 10 years ago a friend of mine had a brand new Ford which had been built 3 years earlier.....
Stockpiling of cars is very very common.
It serves many purposes, but essentially it balances out production versus sales and if after prolonged low sales the cars get too old, they're then fed into the 2nd hand market. The 2nd hand market fuels sales of new cars and so everyone's a winner.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

How do they feed them into the 2nd hand market without selling them new first? Not trying to catch you out just interested...
Ever wondered what "pre-registered" cars are when you see the adverts by the main dealers? They're such a car. You get to buy it with just delivery mileage on but at a second hand price.0 -
