dunstonh please stop posting advice and comments that are clearly mis-leading and factually incorrect about Premier Law and its dealings in the mis-selling of right to buy mortgages and professional negligence cases. That "excuse" has been posted a few times but its not a valid one.
They seem to be doing the rounds at the moment. Some of the excuses they are using seem to be more to get themselves in the door so they can look at your info and then use it as a fishing expedition to find other reasons or things that they may apply.
Premier Law does not nor never has used fishing to get into anyones property and we do not cold call people.Premier Law has thousands of satisfied clients and is involved in the recovery of unfair fees that have been added to peoples right to buy mortgages on a NO WIN NO FEE basis and also ensures they receive %100 of their professional negligence when we win.
Premier Law is regulated by the Ministry of Justice and can be found on the ministry of justice website and type in our registration number 23242 or simply enter Premier Law ltd
All we are doing is helping people who purchased their homes through the Right to Buy scheme and were charged extortionate fees (5-10% of purchase price) by some mortgage brokers. Our business only succeeds when cases settle.
Whilst the vast majority of brokers do an excellent job i am sure you will agree a minority exploited vunerable first time purchasers.0 -

I am only responding to what others said. My comments are generic in nature (as are some of the other posters on this thread). I dont know if the posters that have raised the points are telling the truth or not so I cannot say if Premier Law have made such comments. I am just responding on the basis of what they are saying. Some of the reasons those posters are saying they were told are complete and utter BS. If you wish to disagree with that then please tell us where you disagree and open up the debate. You never know, you may change our minds.
However, to come out and say something is a mis-sale when you have no proof of such is just wrong. All the reasons given for mis-sale could be totally acceptable and documented correctly. Anything could be mis-sold but some cold callers give the impression (again generically and not firm specific) that just because you had something that you were mis-sold.
Any reason why you have picked out just me whilst there are others that are equally negative against claims companies?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Yeah - come on - open the debate, we're waiting! (and will probably be waiting for a long time)
it's nice to know that Bostock joined in June, but has only now decided to comment on a thread that was started in May (and had no new posts since the end of June)!Any reason why you have picked out just me whilst there are others that are equally negative against claims companies?
Yeah - why pick on Dunstonh? There are a lot of us who aren't happy with the way CMC's obtain business by telling porkies. From experience, i have been cold called by many cmcs giving dodgy and blatently wrong information. The forum is littered with posts from other people with the same experience. We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0 -

As requested. The result is here and shows a firm called Retrieve Limited which surrendered its authorisation in March 2011.
It turns out that Premier Law IS authorised under reference CRM23242 and at the same address.
This makes me wonder if there is phoenixing going on - closing down one business, abandon its creditors and start a new one.
It all seems rather dodgy to me.0 -

mmmm it does sound like something isn't right, but then this is only conjecture.
Be interesting to know who the directors of each company are / were...We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0 -
Perhaps the nice man from Premier Law can come back and explain how he has the consent of the people he writes to/cold calls to hold their data in the first place.
Bloody parasites the lot of them.0 -

I'm new to this forum, I bought my house through the right to buy, Ive been struggling with my mortgage payments for some time now. I don't know much about mortgages but with the interest being low at the moment I cant understand why my payments are so high. I had an agent from Premier Law round to my house a couple of days ago who explained everything to me in regards to claiming some money back. I'm wary of these kind of things, as everybody should be, but after listening to him and thoroughly examining the paperwork I didnt have to part with any money or bank details and will never be asked to do so. I have signed up with them and I am confident of claiming something back.0

All Premier Law do is help people get thousands of pounds back for fees that are unfairly added to someones mortgage on top of the purchase price.
These people were given no choice in the appointment of their solicitor and then the solicitor allowed large broker fees to be paid out of their discount/equity without giving them adequate advice.Solicitors should always act in their clients best interests.
Premier Law does not charge clients for this service and only use solicitors that work on a NO WIN NO FEE basis making sure they receive 100% of their professional negligence compensation when they win .
