Thanks so much for this, I picked it up in Tesco's yesterday but couldn't bring myself to pay £29.97 - good job I didn't!! It is on my daughters xmas list so another one to cross off!!

the original post is for the PS2 version, these cheaper ones seem to be for the PC ?

Thank you have been looking out for this for ones daughter! One slight confusion I have with this game is that some give it a 12+ age rating and some a 7+ age rating, eg the PS2 game on Amazon has a picture with 7+ and if you scroll down it reads as 12+ (confusing eh!). The one at play.com is perfect as our daughter is 8!!!!

Is this game an add-on to the Sims 2 or is it a stand alone game by itself?

Play.com says

"The Sims 2 Pets for PC requires The Sims 2 or The Sims 2 Special DVD Edition for PC to play." so make sure you do have Sims already or it won't work.
