baxi boiler...advice?

We have a baxi boiler model WM531RS-CHB, its (a bit) old like but was still working up til 2 days ago. The pilot light went off and would not come back on; called an engineer out yesterday who fixed it then the pilot light went off again shortly afterwards.
Called out an engineer who came this am to fix a part, he then took the main cover off the boiler and pointed out that the seal is worn through. Now our boilers been disconnected and caped off. Any advice on what to do next please? Where can we get a new seal for the boiler?
Or would it be easier buying a new boiler?
Thanks

Can't understand why you appear to have not called the original engineer back when he hadn't fixed the first fault?0

we're with one of those agency companies...pay a fixed amt each month and they send someone out. They didn't send the same person out0

So if you have a maintenance contract, then surely it's their job for source the seal?
Homeserve or Homecare?-please name and shame. No free lunch, and no free laptop

yes they should do really...only parts for this boiler make are mostly obsolete as the boiler itself is about 40 years old! made in about 1975, around the time when the house was built. Wer trying to find the seal part on the net but its proving hard! considering getting a new boiler, we'll have to if we ccant find the part!0
