A friend of mine had the Samsung HD crt model, well that isn't exactly right, he infact had 5 of them. This was due in part to Currys Mastercare being incapable of believing that this particular model of tv might have a few faults. One of them being it's inability to not smell like an open fire, the inability to not arc electricity from the back of the unit, its inability to not turn on after a couple of months and a few other problems associated with not being able to view but hear what was onscreen and this was playing standard definition broadcasts.
He now has an LG 42" LCD in the living room and a 32" Samsung LCD in the bedroom. Both of which are used to view SD material.
YMMV I hope it does.It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

Dear me, hope that's not typical of Samsungs! (I know it's typical of Currys...)Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
