Hi would like to know as i am getting no help from csa
i am parent with care for my 3 kids the non resident had a deo put in place (saying that she never paid what she was meant to but hey ho something is better than nothing)but then went off on maternity leave since them i have had nothing. Are the kids still entitled to anything?

The CSA give everyone a protected earnings threshold. Which means no deduction can be made if it leaves the person lower than this amount as a take home pay. As your ex is on maternity leave, as far as I am aware, no deductions can be made from statutory maternity pay. If she is getting paid more than SMP a deduction can be made as long as it doesn't leave her take home pay lower than her protected earnings.
Also CSA cannot make a deduction relating to one child, which would be to the detrement of another, so when she has this child her protected earnings will probably increase.0 -
I think that even though they don't deduct the money if it would take the NRP below the earnings threshold the maintenance is still owed. This happened to my DH once but they took double the week after.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked
