    You nasty nasty man you.

If Graham's calling me nasty, then I'd better start being more polite.

Hamish, I apologise for any offence caused.

chucky, I'm sorry if I ruffled your feathers.

Graham, I take it that you aren't offended by me mentioning your parasitic lack of LED technology ?

I'm not sure what to be offended by anymore.

Apparently, saving is parasetic behaviour, and you should be spending to support growth.

If, to avoid becoming a parasite, you invest in companies through shares you are an idiot because it's far more risky than investing in houses.

But if you spend instead of being a parasite or idiot, and god forbid, have an iphone, you only have yourself to blame for never being able to afford a house.

Debt is wealth, unless you had debt, then you have ruined your entire life and it will be a massive burden for life (unless you are a bull, then it's fantastic).

The message appears to be, spend, save, and get yourself into debt now before it's too late, and more debt is good for you, rather than a cheaper house and less debt.

BUT, do any of the above things, and you are an idiot and only have yourself to blame for being an idiot.

In short. No. Not really offended. But a little upset you had to remind me <sniff>

bpm I agree with you, which is why I'm equally confused at the gnashing and wailing from the "bears". 4% a year is a pretty acceptable amount for everyone.

Not when property prices still need to be corrected downwards.

And if you go on most of the economists forecasts that inflation should drop off over the next few years it will actually result in above inflation house price rises over that period. Bonkers!

The Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) has forecast that property prices will fall by 40% from their peak in 2007 unless Government action succeeds in boosting mortgage lending.

Graham, only you can make it stop, and you know how.

Word of advice though, make sure it's a 3D model, and you must buy at least 2 pairs of glasses to go with it. Anything less, and you'll remain the leech that you are. :p
