We got out of the car and it poured down, and wind was intense I got sand in my eye and couldn't see a thing
But it was nice to spend the afternoon somewhere different with my folks anyway.
We just got back about 6.30ish, folks came in for a cup of tea but they've gone back home now......
You guys would literally not believe the day Ive had :T
OH phoned me on his lunch break and he's only gone and got himself a bloody interview at one of the best design companies in Wales
Interview is likely to be on the 27th and mines on the 29th - both in Cardiff.
They seem pretty keen on OH anyway as far as Im aware the job isnt even meant to close until the 28th. On top of that OH emailed them that particular week he's absouley rushed off his feet that week at work, one of them is away, hes got the Tata Steel newspaper to do and on top of that he's going to be starting doing a project at a school too.
Got home from work this evening to find an email from them saying they understood and they could do an evening interview around 6ish if that was OK for him......
Obviously we're not counting our chickens etc but I litterally want him to get this job more than I want to get a job for myself because I know how much this would mean to him
He'll have to make do with the stash of Lynx Ive had sitting in the draw (6 cans of the damn stuff) after I bought it he told me he didn't like lynx (he used to always use it lol) so tough its that or nothing
Ooops, the weather did turn a bit later on didn't it? It was spitting when I went to get DD. The trouble is, the hills on either side of the town can kind of catch the wind and if you're down in the bowl, it gets a bit windy.
What a fab day you've had. I will keep everything crossed for you too.

Went for an Imedeen skin screening today and resisted although they did have some good offers on but I'd be interested in feedbcak from using the Time Perfection or Derma One tablets, what's everyone thoughts, has it made a difference?Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

At last a UU to report. Boots aromatherapy jlang jlang body lotion. Probably out of production now as I seem to have had it so long. Masses more to go through, and I have managed to resist buying anything in the toiletries line for nearly two weeks! I will be so moisturised by the time I go on holiday in a couple of weeks, I'll likely slide off the lounger!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Two UU's again today - how well am I doing!!
Radox bath Therapy nourish Bubble bath - WIBA? It was alright - smelt OK, bubbled pretty well - I'd buy it if it were on offer but wouldn't actively seek it out IYSWIM. I'll carry on using the S&G Calm One, Calm All for now as that's already part used.
Sanctuary Body Souffle (Can't remember the full title!) WIBA? Yes, this was already a repeat purchase and I'd happily have this again as it smells lovely, moisturises well and sinks in quickly. Replaced with an Avon Planet Spa body butter which I've been looking forward to using.
I'm away for the weekend - three of us are travelling to S!!!!horpe, Berwick & Glasgow to follow our speedway team on away meetings - should be a good laugh and I will also be packing up some more mini's to take with me of course!
I do have another IN to report....the Nivea Promotion team were at Liverpool Street again yesterday so I have another 8 of those little samples of Nivea Soft! (OH is getting VERY well trained about such things! Nails sound fabby Flutter.... Wish I had the patience to do more with mine.....
I never had the patience before, but I'm in love with the crackle :rotfl: so am enjoying experiementing with it. It didn't take long to do. Only thing is nail varnish isn't very practical for my job (youth worker with lots of outdoor pursuits etc) so I only get to wear it when I'm office based which is about 3 weeks in every quarter!

Afternoon ladies, on what is a very grey, miserable and wet day in SE London
UUs
BS Coconut BB 50ml - WIBA? Maybe. It was pleasant enough, but nothing super special, but I have plenty of butters and lotions in the stash to see me through.
Rose Petal bath bomb - WIBA? No. It was the last of the trio I discovered in my room recently, and just used it for the sake of not wasting it.
Lush Dragon's Egg Bath Ballistic - WIBA? Yes. My nieces & nephew bought me this for Mother's Day and I used it last night. It seemed to have glitter pieces, turned the water orange and smelt lovely. (I did add some of my Organic Surge shower gel to make it a bit more bubbly)
BS Neroli Jasmin body lotion 125ml - WIBA? No. This was a gift. I didn't enjoy the consistency tbh. It was half full and it's been open for well over a year and I took the plunge and binned it last night as it smelt funny, and consistency wasn't that nice. The matching body spray is used in the bathroom as an air freshener as I do like the scent of that.
INs
Leigton Denny Do Me a Flavour orange (free with Harper's Bazaar). Not tried this yet, but looking forward to tonight or over the weekend.
Osis Flatliner Flattening Iron Serum (basically a heat defence spray I think) - seems ok. Didn't have a heat spray in stash (believe it or not :rotfl:) so got sister2 to buy me this from BrandAlley.
Lotion-wise I'm onto the free Cowshed Knackered Cow from MC earlier this year. Smells unusual - not as much a lavender scent as I think I expected. I don't like the texture at all though. It's like gloopy in that I really really had to massage it in, it didn't just soak in. I'll persevere, but is it really awful that I'm tempted to abandon/bin it?
And I'm officially all out of bath ballistics/bubble bars etc! Yay me!!!!
Going to try to survive by using shower gel to have baths with, that stash needs to come down  It doesn't help my sister keeps giving me shower gels. Then yesterday she says to me can I have one of your shower gels, I've run out. I said have one of the ones you gave me. She replies with those are nice ones. It's ok. I'll use one of my nice ones, I just thought you might have a normal one :rotfl::rotfl:
SJP I hope Immy Lou is better.
Kaz how's DD now?
Flutterby you should post a pic of your nails!! My nails last two days max at work, but still trying to use up my stash [STRIKE]that I keep adding to when I really don't need to.[/STRIKE]
