OK, make room on the naughty step.
I was doing so well, then I walked past Debenhams on the way home and bought Benefit 'Skinny Jeans' creaseless cream and Clinique 'Graped Up' Chubby Stick that I have been coveting for ages. £28 poorerBack on the wagon now til end of month. No nail varnish, though....

Oh no, she won't get washed into the sea. It's beautiful here today. Lovely and warm, very little wind etc. I've been sitting outside in the garden in between different paint colours. It's lush outside. I'm pleased because DS is at the park tonight with beavers.
Charlie, if you go to get an icecream, there's an icecream parlour opposite the pier. If you stand at the crossing facing away from the pier, it is to your left. Down by the putting green. It's called PJ's and has a green surround and sells 20 flavours of Mr Whippy. It's very good value for money.
Enjoy your afternoon. If you're going for food, go to the Old colonial down towards the big arch on the sea front or for fish and chips pappas on the boulevard is supposed to be fabulous.
EnjoyI love living here
Kaz you lied!
We got out of the car and it poured down, and wind was intense I got sand in my eye and couldn't see a thing
But it was nice to spend the afternoon somewhere different with my folks anyway.
We just got back about 6.30ish, folks came in for a cup of tea but they've gone back home now......
You guys would literally not believe the day Ive had :T
OH phoned me on his lunch break and he's only gone and got himself a bloody interview at one of the best design companies in Wales
Interview is likely to be on the 27th and mines on the 29th - both in Cardiff.
They seem pretty keen on OH anyway as far as Im aware the job isnt even meant to close until the 28th. On top of that OH emailed them that particular week he's absouley rushed off his feet that week at work, one of them is away, hes got the Tata Steel newspaper to do and on top of that he's going to be starting doing a project at a school too.
Got home from work this evening to find an email from them saying they understood and they could do an evening interview around 6ish if that was OK for him......
Obviously we're not counting our chickens etc but I litterally want him to get this job more than I want to get a job for myself because I know how much this would mean to him
Charlie - Enjoy your afternoon.... What you going to do about OH's deodrant?:D

I actually have a little confession to make, after many months dragged on (and on) with my ex, I arranged to meet up with the bloke who kissed me and well:p...nothing full on but a few things happened iykwim and to be honest I got to the point I didn't even care if my ex found out as I thought it would give him a reason to break up with me
Me and my ex were together 1 week short of 3 years, although in all reality it was probably 2 years longer than it should have dragged on for. The xbox was the bane of my life during that time!
Best moment of my life was when we rowed, he told me to leave. I did. He phoned begging me to come back or its over. I never went back.....
Only you know if its right to keep on with things and thats your decision but maybe its time for a change?
Just to add, Ive been with OH for over 3 years now, of course we have our blips now and again but our relationship feels, well, normal!
(oh and to mention OH isn't the guy from my story. OH is much much yummier -yes I did just say that)
We're 3 n half weeks short of 3 years currently
No, I wish it was an option, but unfortunately at the end of August he goes to New Zealand to do a PhD... For 3 years!!
Plus... he's one of my friends cousins... As my OH is already another friend (in the same circle of friends) brother, so that'd be a tad weird =s everyone else would be like "lock our relatives up!" lmao
Plus... Although I havent known him long, he is a realy good, supportive friend... They dont come around very often, so I wouldnt want to compromise it IFKWIM
Plus... I'm not sure if he really is into me. I'm not really into flings, he usually goes for middle-eastern girls (he says it makes for fun when meeting their fathers). Infact, the first time I met him he said he really isnt attracted to white girls (and those that arent friends with me on facebook I'm whiter than white, the whitiest-white girl you've ever seen... Infact, I'm practically albino... lmao)
Also, a MASSIVE WELL DONE to both you and your OH!! **Big hugs to you both!** I have everything crossed for you, fingers, toes, arms, legs... eyes... tongue

I'm glad you got it all out. That last line made me giggle even though it can't have been that funny at the time. Well done for not backing down and giving undeserved apologies.
I hope it works out for you if you want it to.
But on the other hand, you seem like you're strong enough to deal with whatever comes your way so if he's not going to change then you don't need to hang onto something that doesn't make you happy. It must be difficult when you've put a lot into it but maybe it's like hanging onto an old car too long when you should scrap it. It'll just end up costing you more & more money (emotional energy & happiness) in maintaining and fixing it the longer you make it keep going.
Sorry I know I don't know enough about your relationship really so maybe I shouldn't make suggestions like that but I thought I would throw that out there anyway
That's fine =] thanks for the advice
It is pretty funny thinking back on it, quite quick for me too! I usually only think of those types of things to say about an hour after the appropriate time lolol
Yeah I see what you're saying about the car...rosemary54 wrote: »had my hair cut and price gone up again...£18 for a trim that took 10 mins:eek::eek::eek:
hope all you ladies are well ,with a bit of luck I will be back to(?) normal for July:rotfl:
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Thats RIDICULOUS!!!
I pay £9 for wash, cut and blow dry!!! Or is it £9 for a cut and £15 for a wash, cut and blow dry... I havent had my hair cut in about 2 years:eek:
Still... Cheaper than £18 for a cut!!

I remember a while ago, I had this feeling, ended up jumping back in shower and washing it all off, I threw the lotion too.... I'll bear it in mind when I use the next Sanctuary body lotion in the stash....
QUOTE]
I found that with the Sanctuary body lotion - I'm not really a fan of their range, apart from the body spray which smelled divine but I think is discontinued.
One IN for me: the new L'Oreal VO5 revive me daily shampoo and conditioner - £1 each in Boots. I liked these because the bottles looked like salon versions, and they smell lovely, but have yet to try them out.
Otherwise I'm doing well with the challenge. I was tempted by the clinique bonus time but decided that there was always next time round. :A0 -
Hi everyone,
Loving my new job
One UU: Lush candy cane bubble bar WIBA? Yes, but I think this is a Christmas special, love the scent and it is lovely and bubbly, plus one bar can last 3/4 baths! I got a few of these from Lush gift boxes (Christmas pressies-Still got two more big unopened gift boxes left!)
One IN
No7 Vivid Violet nail varnish- only £2 with my voucher.
I got the best SA ever in Boots this evening (5 minutes before closing time) we were chatting about the new nail colours, and she asked me if I had any more vouchers to use, I said no, so she shouted over to the No7 girls if they had any left (given that the promotion ended a few days ago) and she gave me two more vouchers to use up before Sunday, for nothing!!!
Marvellous!
But, means I'll have two more ins? hmmmmm.
