Ta 1jim, went in using Firefox (rather than IE9) and the option was there - but couldn't swap tariffs.

Have just rung through to BG, spoke to Mike who was very helpful. He told me that you have to put Energy Smart on to your current tariff (Click 6) and then go thru the whole thing again and order Online Saver 4! What a palaver! Anyway its done now and I have expressed my annoyance about the BG website - my complaints have been noted! :)

I use IE8 (i think) and was on there

I agree, its a bit of a carry on really to change, the customer services man put the energysmart on click 6 for me, then I had to logout of BG, log back in and then order online saver. What a pain, still its done now

@Granbee Who did you choose as your supplier when ordering electricty?

I did this on BG's website so they already had my details in the system.

I`ve just done this - changed to Energysmart online but had to ring to go onto Online Saver 4 as I tried three times and it looked like it had gone through..but it hadn`t. It sorted now but took me ages.

Did mine yesterday... Just looked at the list of current tariffs and chose the online one as that has energy smart, which I already have with click 6. You do it as if you're applying for a new tariff. Don't use the add energy smart option... That won't do what you need.

    i did the same
