has anyone book holiday with dream ticket / well heard they gone in to liqudation / my neice and future husband were due to have there honeymoon with them in aug now they carnt they payed by debit card how to they stand atol says it may take up to 1 yr to get there money back :eek: But in the mean time they wont be able to go on there homey moon as they wont be able to afford new one

Firstly it won't take a year to get a refund, as they booked direct, everything should be sorted in about 8 weeks. Go to www.caa.co.uk and click on the message regarding Selsden Travel which was the company behind Dreamticket and you can gain access to the claim form. Another operator Tropical Sky has bought the mailing list and may be willing to provide a similar holiday and accept the money by an assignment from the CAA. They should be in touch within a week or so0

Can they not rebook via Credit Card. Pay off credit card when refunded by ATOL.?0

I would take 8 weeks with a large pinch of salt.
They will do everything to deflect blame to someone else so I would hold fire with re booking until the money is refunded.0 -
no they havnt got the money as had to pay for the wedding thats in aug 20th and were due to go on the next day on honeymoon
