Morning! Got a bit of spare time so thought I'd update.
Still waiting for the beginning of Dec when I can OP again. I've got about £1200 ready to throw at the bank when the time comes so that'll take us down into the 50's- woohoo!
Christmas is all planned and saved up for over the year, so no big spends to deal with. I've just about finished present buying. Its soooo much easier with online shopping these days, isn't it?
No work done on the house as yet, I reckon that'll be put to one side till after Christmas, although we have been looking and deciding what we want.
Hope to update my sig again in a couple of weeks.....0 -
Sig updated!
Now into the 50s- woohoo!
This next 12mths is going to be frustrating as I can only overpay another 4k or so due to being in a fixed deal. But I'll keep going and I'll have a lovely lump sum to pay off when the deal finishes.
This time next year I intend to be well into the 40s!0 -
Just bumpin this up for glitter, who was asking if I had a diary...0

I think we've decided to scale down our home improvements for the time being. The bathroom is old and tired looking but it's perfectly functional. And if we did it now chances are it'd need doing again before we put the house on the market in however many years time. So as long as it's all OK I think we're going to leave that for now. Plus I'd rather spend the money on a holiday:o
there are lots of other jobs that I'd like to get done tho. Our bedroom carpet is ditched, not designed for Calpol spillages, juice spillages, small children being sick etc. So I'd like that replaced and definitely the hall stairs and landing need a good lick of paint. My eldest bedroom could do with being totally redone but until he's a bit older and stops drawing on the bedside table (grrr) I'll leave it.
Got a nice little rebate from my old energy supplier as the transfer to our new one has now gone through, so that's been added to the OP pot, which now stands at around £1200. When it gets to a nice round 2k I'll pay it off- hopefully end of jan/feb time.
So that's it for this year I think, Happy Christmas!0
