I am so angry. They are turning my local netto into an asda

Morrisons have bought quite a few Netto's. They are branching out into the convience market.

Netto are still "looking for land to develop" so makes me wonder why selling off some stores.
Our local one is due to change, we already have a mohoosive tesco and not many people want an asda

the uk division of netto was bought by asda and 147 would be rebranded as asda and the rest will be sold off

it is a bit odd why its still on netto page about looking for sites unless they havent updated the site

My local netto is turning into an Asda too, I am really going to miss their sweetcorn and tuna sandwich paste, best I'd ever tasted! and it was also saving me a fortune as DD only likes the store bought sandwiches... It really annoyed me too, bearing in mind there is a local asda less than 1.5 miles away!!!

We used to have a great supermarket over here called Wellworths,about 8 years ago,Morrisons bought them over & improved them tenfold.About 2 years later,Asda bought over every single one of them!:mad:

They updated the page to say that some stores were turning into asda's so who knows.

just found out the netto in bexleyheath is going to be an asda - despite having a huge one just along the road!!
