I mean i can not find out from any of the listed sites that it has been sold...i have not checked the land registry as it costs £4 i think ..any ideas apart from the obvious one.. it was not a repo but i registered it in my wife's name for stamp duty reasons and i was later to be added as it was a cash sale.
Maybe HMRC have cottoned on that you've defrauded them.0 -

When was it sold previously to you buying it? If you want to save the £4 still use the land registry site. At one point, before payment, they warn you if they have no price data - in which case you will know that the price hasn't been recorded. If it says price data is available then you know it was recorded.
Friends moved and we were curious to know what they sold for, the data didn't show for over a year. No reason for it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
