Can I join this thread? Today I:

    * Made a travel toothbrush. Snapped a standard cheap toothbrush in half and sandpapered the edge smooth: hey presto! One short-handled toothbrush for my hols later in the year.

*Made a bedroom rubbish bin from a bucket.Tesco bins were £5.99. Tesco value black buckets were 99p. Popped a bin liner in and...you can't tell it's a bucket cos the handle is hidden by the bin bag.

    Hello all.
MiL has gone home. She had a good time!
We treated ourselves to chinese on saturday night but otherwise was an os weekend.
    I made scones again!
We're all going to the park in a bit. Will be nice & tire out the toddler! I walked him to Morrisons today. Not very moneysaving as he insisited [STRIKE]had a tantrum[/STRIKE] on having a magazne. It was £2. But he doesn't get pocket money so I guess I will start putting £1 a week away for him towards these things. He loves it though! :)
Got to clean out dd's crocs as she left them out in the garden.
Left overs for dinner. DH has curry from LO chicken. DD has curry from freezer. I have LO couscous. Boys will have freezer stuff!
I need to do a menu plan for the rest of the week, esp as the children are off school & dh has a week off.

love (((hugs))) & spoons all around

Weather is poo so no washing done today, but made some biscuits with DD s, they taste like flour! So will have to be rescued with some icing when I go shopping tomorrow.
Decorated a picture frame for DD1s room and painted another frame.
Dinner will be toad in the hole yum!
Hoping the weather is nicer tomorrow as we're off to the park and the local farm shop to get some tomato plants.:)

Sorry BB and Loulou :p Swansea City FC are in the Premiership :j:j. I'm more a rugby fan than footie, but gotta cheer the boys on. It's gonna be amazing next year!

It's turned out nice here now, so have put laundry out on balcony to dry (WM been on twice with washing and bedding). Also cleaned kitchen.

I've not sorted Ebay stuff yet but have sold some DVDs on MusicMagpie (big thanks to NPM for introducing me to the site!)

We're at Castle Combe racing circuit, and there is a Race Day on, but not been tempted to brave the rain to watch it :rotfl:

As in the motor racing circuit? I think my dad was working there today.....poor b*gger got soaked in the rain and no doubt spent most of it cutting slicks into wet tyres

    Hi again

BB ouch hope you feel better soon

Not long taken DS friend home. He was really happy, pancakes for breakfast and HM chocolate cake, now none left;).

Have been very creative and found a use for all the leylandii I've chopped down, will use some of the bigger bits for a raised bed, have laid it all out just need to dig it out. Also have had a bonfire and mended the fence. Really looking forward to my dinner.

    Have a good evening all
