Morning all,
Bit grey and drizzly here, will leave any washing till tomorrow, dd is still in bed, will leave her for a while.
Went to see dad yesterday, he woke up to say hello, then slept the whole time we were there :rotfl:so we did not stay too long, will go back later on, or tomorrow depending on when he is coming out.
Got a HUGE chicken out of the freezer yesterday, so that will be a roast tonight, and frozen for future meals.
Bought some strawbs, rasps and cherrys from the boot sale yesterday, so will have them for pud with some cream, think I might ask mum if she wants to come, I think she has eaten mostly chips/takeaways since dad has been in hosp, caught her is sainsbobs yesterday with scampi and chips :rotfl:
Need to run the hoover round, and have a tidy through, and that will be it for the day.
Have fun all xx0 -
Morning everyone.
Weather carp here, heavy rain
me and H have had a "difference of opinion" about comments that get made on his FB. I (and I might add some of my friends) think some of the comments are bit too flirtatious for a married man's FB BUT he can't see it
So I get to be made out to be the jealous wife
) Can't you see it's going to be a spectacular BH holiday here today <rollseyes>
Goodness knows what we'll be doing today, not in the mood quite frankly and I haven't even had a shower yet
Sorry to be a whinger
No idea what's for tea, not checked the planner yet.
BB - love the chooks
Apologies for the complete lack of OS. Will be making some leek and pot soup using home grown leeks if that counts.
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning all :hello:
Well kinda windy, grey and over cast here. Have made a start on washing the dogs bedding (no 7 on my frog list - see fly lady thread if this sounds like double dutch
) - hung it out to dry and it nearly blew away!! I thought that at least it will dry quickly, however it then spotted with rain so not so sure now
WM is back on with DD1's bedding - a wet night last night ... but she has just had a full week of dry ones :j:j
We're off to friends house for lunch - really looking forward to it  Tea tonight will be egg and soldiers for DD's and veg omlette and asparagus for me.
I need to buy some onions, garlic and sweet potato - but that can wait til tom cos just want a chilled one today
I'm doing a woodwork day soon where you get to go and spend day in fully equipped room at college and make something. Not sure what I want to make tho
What I'd like to get from the course is: how to use a drill to put pictures up on my walls (not woodwork I know!!), how to make and put up a fence, how to make a chicken house .... don't want too much then lol
Hope everyone has a great Bank Hol Monday

Bargainbird - It's the NAEA qualification, even thought at the moment i'm just doing admin and not actively selling right now, i enjoy everything about property and would be nice to have something that's more than an Alevel. Then is get to add MNAEA after my name too heheh. It's self taught, just need to get the revision equipment and i'm ready to go! Going to talk to my boss to see if he can let me borrow his membership no to get a discount off the text book.

Morning All
Just thought I'd pop on and say Hi :hello:
The weather is not being kind to us today, very rainy.
We are fine enjoying our time away with several friends, and social events organised by the raffle.
We're at Castle Combe racing circuit, and there is a Race Day on, but not been tempted to brave the rain to watch it :rotfl:

Morning all,
Very wet here again, seems to be cooler too.Well DB2 & family have just gone home,DB1 & co stayed till about 10 last night as he is working today, and DN gets tired with being up in the night with the baby.
We all had a good time, and the food enjoyed .There is lots left over,so thats my OS for today - eating it up,and freezing some.DN(7) woke up when we all went to bed and said it was too dark and she couldnt sleep,so we had the landing light on till about 3am.We tend to keep our bedroom door slightly open as the dog likes to come and go,so we tossed and turned until DH got up and switched it off :rotfl:No doubt we'll be nodding off later
Not sure if we'll go out, nothing planned at the moment, bit miserable for walking about, and Dh hates shopping so may just chill.
I finished off my quilt just in time to adorn the guest bed, feel at a loose end now
I've got lots of fabric in tho',just got to decide on the next project.I may make one for our room,I picked up some pj bottoms in Sainsbugs with just the right shade, just liked the fabric, but that can wait for a bit, would need to collect some other toning pieces too.I need sthg quicker, may do the dress next, though looking at the weather a summer dress is the last thing I need :rotfl:
Have a great BH everyone,& take care if you're out and about.xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
