Well blonde hair is the most expensive as it is rare, and it is very hard to find blonde hair outside of Europe or the US, where they have a trading standards etc. I think it would be hard to find unethical blonde hair!!
Not saying that the 50p thing doesn't happen in some places, but if you specify European hair you can be more sure what you are getting. It is like buying anything else.
