Foreign Currency Bank Holiday - HELP!

I'm off on holiday tomorrow, very last minute, as such I haven't yet got the currency I need, euros, and it's a bank holiday tomorrow! So I, as i see it, i can either get euros at the airport, but i know the ROE will be stupidly low! or i just withdraw from an ATM there (lanzarote) I don;t know what ROE this will give me (bank is Halifax) and i can't find this information anywhere...

any advice would be great!

Thanks

Thomas Cook are currently offering 1.122 euros to the pound. You can order online for collection at the airport and your rate will be fixed. The website says for 48 hours, the email confirmation says for today only, but having spoken to staff at the airport they advise the rate is guaranteed for 24 hours from the time of booking.

Hope this solves your problem. Have a great time!

Don't forget to take cash to pay or you may incurr a fee from your bank or building society.

Put your spending money on a Travelex Cash Passport Globe Prepaid Mastercard.

Click on the amount on the second page in order to choose how much you wish to place on the card. A minimum of £250.

They take only 1.49% from the 'wholesale rate'. No cash withdrawal charges.

You can pick it up from Gatwick Airport. Just order at least four hours before you leave for the airport.

Makes sure that you withdraw your cash in Euros from the Spanish ATM. Refuse to be charged in Pounds.

Let's hope you see this in time. ;)
