Hex - its not just about letting other people do things (although in agree that can be difficult
) but also knowing whether they will... And both my cousins and by brother and SIL will have babies with them and SIL is pregnant...
Anyway, crudit!s done to go with humus and baba ganoush made yesterday. Chocolate, pear and hazelnut cake cooling. Tabbouleh made. Tomato salad made. Washing up done (not dried). Table cleared and wiped. Dead flies removed from window sill. Kitchen floor swept.
Only things left to do are shower, dress, and deal with the lamb... Suppose I should start by getting clean (I did have a couple of short rests, but will definitely be resting for the remainder of the day. Pity about the lack of sun, as that would make it much easier!)0 -

Morning, all!
Spent half the night writing various lists and plans for the house, as I realised that leaving it would result in them all buzzing through my head for the rest of the night. Started at about 10 and finished at quarter to two.
Slept like a log and woke up, calm, refreshed and relaxed at 8.45am with three cats splodged over the bits of the bed that I wasn't occupying.
There is no washing whatsover to do. The DW is totally unloaded, the floor is swept (but I will have to mop it later), the counters are clean, the fuzzy cat has been brushed enough to make a spare animal.
Off to the shops in the brilliant sunshine again!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

2. Sort out bookcase / dumping ground table in corner of dining room

7. Take rubbish from back garden to the dump
8. Tidy toiletry shelves in bathroom

Ooooh. What size and what sort? I loved Droopy & Browns. Got my wedding dress and lots of lovely things from there. Was devastated when it disappeared.
It's a pinkish-red v-necked cord dress, very fitted, size 10. Gutted to be selling it, but I'm flat chested and it gapes at the top0 -
ok - Good news and Bad news...
Good News first...
WM is on, DW is on, Kitchen work surfaces cleared and wiped, Dining table cleared and cleaned, decorating supplies from Dining table in a neat pile for DH to sort out! DD's belongings from the dining room on the stairs for her to take up (dressing gown and a belt?? Don't ask why they were in the Dining room as I have no idea!), I'm taking bets as to how long they will stay there before they make it to her bedroom (She's 16 years old!).
Frog List.. Spreadsheet updated and checked with Bank Balance... then fiddled until they match! And Christmas list and budget written!
Bad news...
While I was busy the puppy (10 month old Bull Mastiff - not a small dog!) broke into DD's room and had a play! It was already a definite Room of Doom, now it's even worse! I quietly shut the door, put up the baby-gate so she can't get back in and left it! DD will have to sort it!0
