I've been for petrol and tab papers cos I'd run out of both :o made another brew and pottered around in the kitchen, set the WM away and put the cups from the LR in the DW, it's not quite full so off in search of more (teenies room) and to find some towels, loads are missing *confused shrug*

    So, I'll join you Julie

Dusty- I like your five rooms focus and I think I will copy you as I have a tendancy to just do the kitchen and then run out of time.

Thing is that plan was before I visited the two local plant nurseries :D:o

Off to inlaws later and I have the birthday cake to make yet. Hips still sore so they are going to love sitting in a car for 2 hours - not!

Just going to do an on line order then bake the cake and I'll sort the kitchen drawer whilst it is baking. Not sure which job number that is but I can't do 7 as it's a phone call and they won't be open BHM so I'm subbing that one.

    morning all

been on e bay and cancelled a sale - turns out my BIL was very attached to the cat moneybox my sis had given me to list so I have pulled the listing.

DD not to good (the usual) but at least she can rest in bed and, as mummyoffive pointed out, we have rain.

After logging on last night I got ironing guilt so I did a maidenful.

    plan for today

    clear out handbag
    update bank account
    write list of work jobs
make a start on work jobs
    empty maiden
    iron next batch
empty washer and fold wet washing in case it brightens up later (or tomorrow)
    get out of bed
    have shower

    better make a start then!

Hello everyone. I'm new to flylady and def need your help. My house is a complete junk yard. I've had back problems getting worse for an age so started seeing chiropractor which helped, then we decided to have our second child which made my back really bad. At the end of the pregnancy I could only stand long enough to make a cuppa and had to use crutches to get out of bed, etc. The house just got worse and worse. DH couldn't help out much at the time as he was busy trying to renovate back bedroom so my DD could move in there and new baby could have her room. This was a RoD. RoD stuff got moved to our dining room and our bedroom (we did chuck/freecycle/CS loads). So now dining room is RoD and bedroom not much better. DS and I have been tackling RoD in half stints together and now we have room to eat in there again - hooray, but there's still a lot of stuff to clear. Anyways, I'm finding it all rather depressing. I thought being on maternity leave I'd be able to get things sorted. Back is a lot better but not perfect, but when I do clear a surface/floor it just gets filled again and so the cycle continues. I'm clearly not managing and I'll be back to work at beg July. So.... this sounds like a great plan and just the motivation I need.

DD at MILs today, husband and baby DS asleep (husband been up with IBS 'til early hours so deserves extra lie in). I've written out a list of 10 and I'm off to clear the worksurface before DS wakes.

    Here's my list:
    1. Sort one extra basket of laundry hanging around in kitchen
    2. Sort pile of paperwork on my table
    3. List 5 things on eBay and relist unsolds
    4. Boots order for Cow and Gate stuff
    5. Ironing
    6. Declutter bedside table
    7. Shredding
    8. Go swimming with DS
    9. Sort out hat drawer
    10. Wash dog bedding

    Here goes, wish me luck!

Spent the last 10 mins pricing up towels, I can't find any, all I've got left is beach towels and 2 normal bath towels....all my bath sheets have done a runner! the airing cupboard got a nice sort through though in the process.

Found 7 cups and a glass in teenies room! One was too far gone so had to be binned, I wouldn't care but he supposedly brought them all down yesterday! ..... need to keep calm :D

So, how'd you get on Jules?

    Hi Sharon and welcome x
