SharonR - as you have asked the question - I shall offload my WM cleaning ordeal from today. I first cleaned the powder drawer - and found a little button at the back which let me take the drawer out and soak it in the sink. I then cleaned it with an old toothbrush and a microfibre cloth and washing up liquid. Then I wiped the cloth and scrubbed the toothbrush inside all the door seals and all their deep and manky crevices. Then I investigated the filter. Having found my instruction manual I emptied the pump with the long tube that pulls out of the machine, then needed pliers to undo the filter. At that point I soaked about 10 tea towels with manky smelly water. Inside the filter was about £2.73, a strange piece of webbing strap (???) and lots of black unpleasantness. All went in the soapy water for a scrub with a toothbrush. Yuck. Then I reassembled and ran the machine on a 95 degree wash with prewash with white vinegar in the drawer - 1/4 cup in prewash and main detergent drawer, and a good sprinkling of bicarb in the drum. I'm hoping this will rid me of stagnation now.

    Have fun!

    Evening all,

Well the bath was cleaned (number 2 on frog list), but I didn't manage to sort through my work bag (no 7). I did, however, get my maths plan finished up until Thursday before we had to leave for lunch, so just one more day to fill in tomorrow when Moon is back to work. I'm going to try and be disciplined and make sure I fill in that last day before I do anything online, so that I don't get distracted, then I'm going to do HHCs to get more done throughout the day, rather than sit there solidly doing it and not really getting anywhere as I'm bored.

I'm off to check post one, to see what other things are on the list for tomorrow.

Hugs to all who need or want them,

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Re. Washing machine cleaning... I now put powder (when I use it ... I prefer liquid or soap nuts) directly into the drum, and use vinegar instead of fabric conditioner. As a result I don't get black gunk in the drawer...

    Morning All

Greenbee - DH has bought me a kindle for our wedding anniversary because he didn't know what else to get and I said I wanted one for my birthday. He gave it to me yesterday though as he won't be here on Friday.

I've got lots to do today and DD has a friend sleeping over tonight - DS hasn't managed to arrange anything yet so it looks like he'll be on his own again. My mate's going to see Hop with her kids and DS wants to go as well but not sure if DD wants to. Hopefully she won't and I'll ask my mate to take DS for me. I also need to go and get weighed. That's beside the million and one things I need to do in the house and it's chucking it down again. I've also got to unload my car which is full of all my work stuff as I brought everything home with me on Friday so I've got a full boot and front passenger seat - this is on my frog list - don't fancy doing it in the rain though.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
