Just to reassure you it takes a lot of people a lot of practices to actually fall pregnant, so i wouldn't worry too much until your period is late and/or you can do a pregnancy test.

Not everybody though - I feel first try with each of my 3 boys ;)

They don't really work before your period is due tbh. The ones which advertise as being able to use up to 6 days before you are due are only about 45% accurate this early IIRC. The percentage goes up each day and is 98% ish on the day you are due. So a negative on one of these isn't really worth the paper it's written on, though a positive is encouraging if you are trying to conceive.

This happened to me, we were always using condoms. One time we had some fun, few days later I started to feel pregnant (I know I know), took a test and it was positive, went to doctors right away and the burse did a further 2 and yes I was pregnant, would not change it for the world now, have a gorgeous 4 year old :).

There is a test in boots (the one I used) quite expensive and it can tell you within a week like me :).

Good luck OP do let us know..

The morning after pill does not work.

I have taken it twice and both times I was pregnant and stayed pregnant. They cannot prove that it works but there are many people online who will tell you it does not work who have ended up pregnant after taking it.

There are also plenty who will tell you it did work but how can they prove they were actually pregnant in the first place.

No need for u to panic, wait untill u know if ur pregnant or not. U can get tests that tell you up to 6 days before your period is due. Think even if you do have unprotected sex during fertile dates its still only like 30 percent chance u will fall pregnant ( dont quote me on my figures lol cuz i might not be right) 30 percent prob sounds like a lot if you dont want to be pregnant but it really isnt if you do want to be pregnant. That probs dont make sense but anyhoo
    All the best :)

The morning after pill is around 90% effective, but if you are already pregnant when you take it, it will not cause the pregnancy to terminate which is why it is not considered an abortion pill.

It is best to take it within 12 hours of unprotected sex, because the longer you leave it the more likely you are to already be pregnant in which case it won't work.

If it is too late for the morning after pill and having the coil fitted as a safety net - try not to worry and get upset until you know whether or not you are pregnant. You probably aren't - it takes most people about nine months of trying to conceive during their fertile period to get pregnant - so don't start stressing out unless you know there is something to stress over.

Hope you get the result that you want - good luck. x x x
