Thanks for this.
I've got a change of address I need to update, just couldn't decide on the standard change fee or the petlog premium service prior to noticing this thread. I think I'll just go for the free change of details as I doubt we will move again.
I just hope I can get it to work online as it seems to be an online only offer, and knowing my luck it won't.2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017
Weight loss the old style way challenge - 7/14lbs :j0 -
Many thanks OP, just spotted this and luckily had the Petlog details stuck on the fridge to remind me to change Ruby's address - since I moved over a year ago
All done now :T0 -
just looked at this site as perry is still registered at our old address, it's not the company he is registered with, his is identichip, and as i dont have a login password i cant change it even if it is £6.
been trying to change password on it but seems that page doesnt work
It isn't a password you create, it's one you get given on your microchip certificate. It's to prove you had the dog microchipped, and didn't just find it and are trying to change details.
If you don't have the original certificate, I'd call the company and they should be able to prove you're you with other details, like the address the microchip is currently registered to.0 -

I don't know if anyone can help me with this but i've just checked my details on the petlog site and they have my dog down as a crossbreed, she isn't a crossbreed.
I had her chipped at the PDSA and recently changed my address, this is why i checked as i was told they wouldn't notify me that they had done it, and they haven't, so to be sure she was now registered here i looked.
Thing is , you can change some details but not the breed
Do you think if i emailed them they would do it?
She isn't down as a crossbreed at the PDSA so i don't know why she is on there....or do they class any dog that doesn't have the pedigree papers as a crossbreed?
TIA
It's not lack of papers, it's just a mistake. One of mine has the sex missing! She is quite definitely a !!!!!, but they failed to type that in when processing the paperwork0 -
Thanks for the link, it's a great reminder too as well as a great money saver."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0

I do have the certificate in front of me... and nothing works, email doesn't work either with this company, looks like I'll have to call them0 -

If you have the petlog paperwork in front of you, it should have the microchip number on it, as well as the petlog ID number. But if you've changed any details already, since receiving the paperwork, the ID number has probably changed. I emailed them, providing microchip number, animal name and the registered address, and they gave me the new ID.
I don't know why you should be charged to call them :huh:0 -

Does your certificate even have a Web Security Password printed on it? On mine, it's on the same line as the microchip number, under IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
I've just received my new certificate since changing my address, and the password has changed. Are you looking at the most recent certificate or an old one?
lol you might have called them by now0
