Update your pets microchip details in June for free (petlog)

I think they normally charge £5 each time you update the details ie change of address or phone number.
In June it will be free

When I got my kittens I paid £10 to have unlimited changes, which considering they could go on for 20 years made sense! They still do this offer too.

I'm not allowed to change my dogs microchip details-has to stay registered to the charity we adopted him from, I just have to keep my details updated with them, which is free
Thought this was worth bumping up thoughPlease excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!0 -
OP - thanks a lot for that - 2 of my 6 still have ex'es details on their chips grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
maybe this will motivate him0 -
Hi,
I don't know if anyone can help me with this but i've just checked my details on the petlog site and they have my dog down as a crossbreed, she isn't a crossbreed.
I had her chipped at the PDSA and recently changed my address, this is why i checked as i was told they wouldn't notify me that they had done it, and they haven't, so to be sure she was now registered here i looked.
Thing is , you can change some details but not the breed
Do you think if i emailed them they would do it?
She isn't down as a crossbreed at the PDSA so i don't know why she is on there....or do they class any dog that doesn't have the pedigree papers as a crossbreed?
TIA0 -
Give them a call and ask
now it's free, what do you have to lose?
It might be the lack of papers, it might just be a mistake, but the important thing is that the contact details are current. I would care if they thought my dog was a cat as long as I got him backPlease excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Wouldn't hurt to give them a call would it
Im sure they would have a bit of a shock if she was down as a cat and then they seen her lol..and i think the woof might give her away!
Thanks0 -

Hope that helps
Yeah there is a number they've wrote on there but when i put that in with the microchip number, it says it's not valid. Will ring the vets and see if they can give it to me.
