Discount days in DIY stores

Sorry to ask a question that must have been answered many times: please can someone remind me when the various DIY stores have discount days for oldies ? We need stuff from B&Q and might as well pay as little as possible for it.

    With B & Q you must have a card beforehand, or you may find bother at checkout. It does not take long to get the card, ask at checkout

    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    I probably meant Homebase if it was Nectar points. Or it was an offer not Nectar. Who knows?

    But I've just had some offers from HomeBase to go with my Nectar Card, and I'm sure it WAS Homebase.

    Everything was 50% off last week at my nearest one but it closes today, so there's probably 101% off.

    If you ask nicely, the staff at our local B&Q will usually give a discount on any day.

    Just had one on compost and plants. :) (Monday)
