little update question . ive requested a copy of the credit agreement from citi using the template how long does this usually take and can i phone them to confirm they've received it etc ?

or should i consider sending an SAR to be sure ?

Hiya - 12 days for a copy of the agreement, enclose £1 cheque or postal order.

SAR - 40 calendar days and they have 40 calendar days to comply.
Template for full SAR request below. £10 cheque or postal order.

Its up to you, but as long as you have the account number, and know for definate you were sold and mis sold ppi, you can still continue with the reclaiming without the need of the paperwork.

another update i phoned today re 4x accounts from loans . and was told the first account info they were unable to find a copy of the original agreement and the other 3 im told were pending awaiting clearance of payment of the postal orders
but that i should have an update tomorrow (fri) all good it would seem

however on my floor on my way in from work

    " dear mr x

can i just claim for ppi on all the accounts ? the reason i ask is im not 100% sure ii had insurance on all of the 4 accounts . ( the reason i feel i have a claim is due to the pushy sales techniques and implication i may not be able to have said loans without buying cover )

thank you for your recent request for a copy of your loan agreement with citifinancial under section 77 (1) of the consumer credit act 1974

section77 (3 ) of the credit act states that section 77 (1 ) does not apply where no sum is or will or may become payable by the debtor. as all your accounts are now cloased we are not obliged to comply with this request as we no longer have a contractual relationship with you . your right to be provided with this document eended with the closeure of your account .

we have refuned the £4 payment in relation for this request "

Hi there, if you are not sure you had ppi, then do a SAR,send £10 and request all info they hold on you.

And just to add that when requesting the credit agreements by the CCA and £1, they will only usually send them if the account is still running and there is a balance due. Otherwise they may write back and say that they are not legally obliged (which is true) to do this.
