    Does anyone else think it looks a little...hacked at?? As in, my 4 year old could do a neater job at cutting it in half and putting it back together. I know she says rustic but thats just taking the P! and £6!!

    I'll stick to making my own, I love baking. I even bake things for friends and family, they just have to pay for ingredients.

    In which case she needs to take heed of the advice on here

    get a food safety qualification

    Get EHO to asses her "food premises / kitchen "

    Read, understand and put into practice the allergy laws on nuts and gluten and advertising / disclaimers around this topic . e.g made in a gluten environment, cannot guarantee being nut free etc

    Probably be more realisitc in her pricing...for a lot less money some of the cakes on ebay look more professional

    Take out some form of liability insurance.
    Learn the art of presenting food so it looks appealing to potential customers.
