I am not annoyed, I just really want to keep that separate as may have found a way to deal with at least part of those expenses so really want toconcentrate on the rest. Thanks.

problem is though you cant keep the issue seperate..as others have said it's going to be impossible to continue the life you had before considering bankruptcy

well...i'll step away now & let others assist as it seems to be going round in circles..

That is precisely why I want to keep pets out of this topic - as we seem to be going in circles and I really do not want to waste people's time.

Anythign else but pets, and I got a few really good pointers on here - really appreciate all input.

    Thanks a lot.

GR - It seems to me that you are getting stressed about the comments you've had...but don't take it to heart. Most of us on here (including me) have been through what you are facing, so we know just how hard it can be. We all have our own personal circumstances that are pertinent to us, but comments on here are being realistic, not judgmental.

Anyway, a few comments from me in a hope they can help:

    Rent £ 386.00
Council Tax £ 125.00 < Is this an average over 12 months? Do you live alone, and if so are you getting the 25% discount?
Internet £ 14.50 < Can't claim for that unless it is required for work or for study
    Water £ 26.00
BT £ 50.00 < Is this for a standard landline? It seems very high, you may want to look at call packages
    Gas £ 40.00
    Electric £ 20.00
    TV License £ 12.50 < £13
    Hairdresser £10
    Optician £10
    Prescriptions £22
    Holidays £10 < £20
Birthdays etc £10 < not allowed
    Travelcard £ 124.00
Groceries £ 200.00 < Try to cover pet food in here, that is what I did

You really should try to have home contents insurance. It may seem like waste...but not if/when you actually need it.

I know you said stop talking about pets, but I'm going to, just to give you my experience. I had to drop pet insurance before I went BR due to no money (have two moggies). I know one of them will never be accepted for insurance again, but it was a case of being able to just about afford food for them.

I know it's hard when folks say, "Give up your pets". I would never want to hand over my two little ladies, but if the trustee takes my house next year, that could happen. Remember, others on here have had to give up things they hold dear - e.g. a car or train fare to visit relatives. No-one on here is telling you what to do, just pointing out their own sacrifices so that you can get an idea of what you will face.

    Best of luck to you.

Rate per hour £10.31, estimated hours - 37.5 per week, thanks a lot.

OK, the calculation isn't dependant upon your hours, but you acrrue holiday at the rate of 12.07% of every hour worked. So your hourly rate should be £9.20 and 12.07% of that is £1.11 which the agency keeps back to pay you when you take holiday, totalling the original £10.31.

    So if you work 37 hours in a week you will accrue 4 hours and 28.2 minutes holiday. (12.07/100 x 37 = 4.47 hours = 4 hrs 28.2 mins)

    37 x £1.11 = £41.07 accrued in the agency's bank

4.47 hours x £9.20 hourly rate = £41.12 (close enough allowing for rounding up/down throughout the calculations)

If you print out the previous two links I gave you and this one which details the calculations under 'casual workers' then they can't really argue against the law. As employers they have a legal responsibility to keep up to date anyway.

    Rent £ 386.00
    Council Tax £ 125.00
    Internet £ 14.50
Water £ 26.00 - this is high, i'm with Thames Water on a meter for 5 people in a 3 bed and it costs less than this. Allowance is £32 so if you get a meter excess could be saved?

    Gas £ 40.00
    Electric £ 20.00
    TV License £ 12.50 £13
    Hairdresser £10
Optician £10 - change to health - £14 both optician and dentist
    Prescriptions £22 - £9.41 on pay quartely
    Holidays £10 £20
    Birthdays etc £10 not allowed
    Travelcard £ 124.00
    Groceries £ 200.00
    House insurance ?
Clothing - £39 (according to guidance)

Thanks a lot everyone again, very much appreciated.

Will put a new SOA together tomorrow and see what it looks like.

Dog insurance I need to keep as Zara has hips displasia and arithritis.

My own perscriptions - I was thinking more about claming for 3 per month but getting the GP to put 3 months worth on one perscription and having a bit leftover from there.

Water - this is added to my rent at 6.61 per week so around 26 per month.

Mobile - will add to BR and get PAYG.

My electric is actually 30 not 20.

    Internet - need for work.

Travelcard - could claim tube but use bus but that would mean over 2 hour trip each way to/from work so impossible to cut here.

    Thanks again.

The rate per hour/holiday - thanks for that calculation but it makes more sense to me to have that £1.11 extra per hour and just do nto take any time off. Otherwise I am £41 or so worse off per week. That is 177 per month (before tax), a massive difference :(

Thanks for that brain storming on here today, perhaps I should look at another DMP rather than BR but the problem I see with that is that I may not be able to keep up with it for the usual 5 years and have to break it again as I had before and then be back to square one....
