  • You have told them there is no liability yet they keep writing. I would seriously consider going to the police and asking them to investigate a harrasment crime.

do as i do and ignore them..

if they send out the "enforcment officers" then show them theres no TV and they will go away..

This reminds me of a story that I read in one of these TV Licence epics. Someone was visited by an "Enforcement Officer" who asked to be allowed inside the home to check for a television. When the householder declined, the "Enforcement Officer" said that he was going to stand outside the door until the householder let him in to search. But, it was raining, the house had no porch, and the "Enforcement Officer" didn't have an umbrella, just a not-very-waterproof coat. So, the householder just left him there, getting wetter and wetter. Until after an hour or so the "Enforcement Officer" gave up and left.

Thank you, that's just what i intend to do

I have wasted enough time using their lousy phone lines, repeating the same 'there are no tv's etc - no licence needed etc etc'

    Thanks again
Why not forward all these letters to your MP, explaining the circumstances as you have to us?

Kick up a fuss about how tax payers money is being wasted in these "austere" times!!!!

Then sit back, have a cuppa ... and let the MP do any "worrying" for you :)
