    You obviously have completed the form to get free prescriptions on the grounds of being unable to leave the house without assistance of another person. Its not based on income purely on your inability to leave the house on your own.

    I think a lot of disabled people don't know they can do this, so miss out, which is a shame. The certificate lasts 5 years too and is easy to get if you are wheelchair bound.

    Yes, that's true - I have to have assistance to get to the docs, so I get free prescriptions. It was my doctor who said I could apply for it, as she could see I was struggling to get to the surgery.
