if you are on income support or any other means tested benefit then your entitled to free dental treatment, not sure if you can claim things back though0

Afraid disabilty doesn't mean free prescriptions or dental treatment unless you qualify on income grounds.0

It totally depends on household income, make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

You can get a HC1 application form from dentist / optician / doctor / dss etc, fill one out and if its possible you will get what you need.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. Surely you can only claim it back if you paid for it whilst on ESA or other entitlement benefits? If the work was done before going on benefits then it cant be claimed back.0

I am on DLA and ESA, and only get free prescriptions, nothing else, even though I am in a wheelchair and cannot work. My husband works, so his income counts towards our household income. Worth looking out for free or half price eye test vouchers or shopping around for a cheap dentist.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0

You obviously have completed the form to get free prescriptions on the grounds of being unable to leave the house without assistance of another person. Its not based on income purely on your inability to leave the house on your own.
I think a lot of disabled people don't know they can do this, so miss out, which is a shame. The certificate lasts 5 years too and is easy to get if you are wheelchair bound.
