Hi,
how are you getting on, did you try Browntoa suggestion?
Have you got the router set up properly,
is it by ethernet or wireless,
is the problem that you can't connect to the internet?0 -

to be honest i havent got round to setting it up yet due to having to move lots of things to get to the excisting bthomehub disconnecting it all installing new router putting everything back to find out it has no internet conectivity!! have to the repeat the process (have a bad back) i'm more than capable of setting up a router ie port forwarding ect and it will be used for wireless and lan with some static ip's (for nas ect) just doing some research before i start the whole process and bt arn't being very forthcoming with what i need to put in as a username and password to be able to connect to the service
and i assume thatthe username bthomehub is for users with a bthomehub if that makes sense???0 -
User name and password used to be -admin & admin, worth a try.0

oh, right.
Your BT username and password will be just the same as before, as you are not changing provider.
There will be instructions with the Belkin for setting it up, sounds like you'll manage.0 -
I find it hard to believe that 3 routers in succession are faulty. The HomeHub is not the greatest bit of kit, but I strongly suspect your problem lies elsewhere.
Borrow a known working router and see if you can connect with that.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

had various problems with them one the lan gave up so all my wired devices couldn't be used the power socket went on another and the last would randomly drop connection to the net sometimes for days on end even after doing a hard reset on it (can imagine my reluctency to do this as ssid customised +hidden all lan equipment with static ip's and various ports forwarded to enable ftp access to my nas ect) so being quite knowlegable on things like this getting the same have you turned it off discussion from bt starts to wear thin so i have decided to buy a new router thats not bt controlled (yes dspite changing all the admin names and passwords they can still access it) just want a reliable service seems that it's just too much to ask from bt oh and have had bt out and the engineers also have problems with their own homehubs changed my telephone sockect to have an integrated microfilter done line tests and everything is perfect just the homehub having connection issues all the firmware was up to date just had a bad enough run with them to make me want to change to a reliable router!!0
