I want to say thank to the OP for bringing the offer to our attention!
I had to phone up in the end and do a card order over the phone as I am not eligable for an account.
Still I did it in the end and DS will get his new MP3 player.
I was told that they do charge you the full amount until the end of the 14 days home trial. Then when the 14 days is up they will credit you with the £13.50 :)

i take it back, they said £5 in the email and then took £18.50 from my account. i called the customer service and the guy had no clue when i would be refunded, went off to ask and put the phone down on me, since then i have had the phone cut off 4 times, i'd avoid at all costs!

It will most likely be at the end of the 14 days.
That is what I was told anyway. I don't mind that as long as I was informed at the time of order :)

i would prefer to have been told in the email. it said £5 and i expect £5 to be debited. this might even send me over my over-draft :(

  • Thanks, great bargain ....dont know whether to give it as pressie or keep it myself
  • I'm really tempted by this offer as it's an absolute bargain. Point 2.3 in their T&C concerns me tho...
Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the code. In the event that the code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not comply with or qualify for the offer, we shall have the right to reclaim the value of any discount from you and the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding the provisions of clause 2 above.
Where did the promo code come from originally, OP? I'd like to take advantage of this offer but don't fancy being charged the £18.50 if the code was only generated for use by one specific person.

Great spot, let's just hope they redeem the code. :)
