A diesel Fiesta will not get anywhere close to 76MPG in stop start commuting traffic. Your problem isn't the car you have but the type of journey you're doing and you are going to be lucky to scrape 2/3 of advertised "extra urban" MPGs.0 -

Its not all stop start, to your last point, I'm only 3mpg off the extra urban figure in my current car (32 out of 35), on a clear run I can average 40.0
