Orange have peed me off so much - I had my plan with them for years before and upgraded in jan. I asked for the contract to be for one year (they put me down for 2 years), i asked for cross net minutes, they put me down for orange and orange mins. Was hacked off when i received this in writing with my bill the first month! i tried phoning, was on the phone for 15 mins with no answer, so i emailed them saying this. They then phoned and left a message saying they cant do this over an email and can i phone them back, (what a suprise, another 15 mins, no answer). i just gave up at this point, i do other things in my life.... cant keep concentrating on phone contract. They were happy for me to pay when the bill comes through - i dont do dd. They didnt ask me if i wanted to do this. However i just logged on today, and out of the blue they have started charging me 4 pound non direct debit fee. Can they do this?!!?

Tbh i really want to get out of this contract - well lower it alot! Am i in my means to write a letter explainin all this? Can i justify that i only want to be contacted in writing?
Saving for a house :T
Will question every purchase I make!

You asked or they agreed to this? Was a new handset involved? If so, it's a negotiation process, not that they have to do everything you ask for.

    Yes, they can.

Surely you can complain in writing and they will reply in writing.

    how to make a complaint

If they agreed to what you asked for, demand the record of the call to be reviewed.
