You can't have too many backup sites!
Just spread multiple copies of your personal data far and wide - and carve your passwords into a large Oak tree for good measure.;)
One backup is generally enough unless you have really mission critical information. What's the chance of you losing you data at home AND at the same time your online storage disappearing.
A bigger risk is corrupting your data, then overwriting your remote backup with a corrupted copy before you know it's damaged.
Some backup systems make incremental backups, which have the potential to overcome that scenario - can easily be a can of worms though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
