Beware if you are taking someone to LBA airport
Leeds Bradford Airport are now charging £2 to drop off and pick up passengers, it used to be free for up to 10 minutes before, apparently you are allowed 30 minute now, but how long does it take to get out of a car with your luggage.you don't need 30 minutes.
A better idea would be to charge the £2 for pickups and leave drop off's as they were

It's not just leeds/bradford, Manchester charge a fee for dropping off as well. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel!0

I don't know of any airports that do not charge now. I don't see a problem with it - private property, if people don't like it they don't have to go there.A better idea would be to charge the £2 for pickups and leave drop off's as they were
Why is it better to charge arriving passengers but not those departing? I see no logic there at all!Gone ... or have I?0 -
Just another way of extorting money things like this make me angry how do they expect you to get to the airport when they charge you to park charge for a drop-off and public transport is not an option.I'll Complain, Complain Again and keep complaining until I get what I want. I will never let you win, I AM ALWAYS RIGHT and you are always wrong because I have the KNOWLEDGE0

I am not aware of any airports that do not have public transport links? Please do elaborate!Gone ... or have I?0 -
if you lived in London you'd ALWAYS take public transport to the airport or miss your plane due to a 3 hour delay on the M25
cannot remember the last time I was picked up or dropped off at an airportEx forum ambassador

At least they don't charge you £10 "airport development fee" like Blackpool airport does0

if I'm going on holiday with two kids and a ton of luggage I'm hardly gonna struggle on the train or bus imagine a lot of people would be the same.I'll Complain, Complain Again and keep complaining until I get what I want. So you have the option to take public transport, you just choose not to. Hence, you choose to pay the drop off fee.Gone ... or have I?0 -

but why should people pay to be dropped off though? that's my point I can understand being charged to park or charged to wait even but to be charged for to just drive up get out and life a couple of cases out of the boot is just wrong. if people keep accepting these things sooner or later every airport will do it and move onto the next fee once they've milked it to death. it's just yet another money making scamI'll Complain, Complain Again and keep complaining until I get what I want. I think there used to be a fee when you could stop right in front of the airport. Then following the bomb in Scotland they changed the route(at first it was temp with bollards) in and brought in the free drop off.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000
