Oh come on Psycho, when was the last time you saw a policeman get out of his vehicle other than when it was in the station yard? Might have wound the window down if the clamper was lucky :p
I always got out of mine - and not just in the back yard..

I understand that the drive-thru's at such places as Mr McD's, BK, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme do not always operate 24 hours and so an approach on foot is occasionally necessary. :D

An old colleague of mine who had been given a (proper) parking ticket whilst off-duty a few days before was driving through town when he suddenly spotted the traffic warden concerned (when we had such beasts) booking another car. He quickly wound down his window to yell abuse at the TW only to remember at the last moment that he was in a marked vehicle :silenced: [/lamp swinging mode].
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

A sort of Dirty Harry "make my day punk" moment would have been nice.

During the Queen's unannounced visit she had lunch on board the 245ft (75m) super yacht Leander, owned by NCP car park millionaire Sir Donald Gosling.

Perhaps she should have asked him about how to deal with the shoal scammers :rotfl:
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Much as was thought. I thoroughly recommend reading some of Mr Eames pronouncements on Shoal's Press Release page - Clicky Here - for a little light entertainment.

IIRC going back some years Shoal actually offered a monthly prize draw for those unlucky enough to have been clamped by them. The top prize was a week's holiday at Butlins.

Well there is one small issue in all this....
ALL of Gunwharf is locked down by CCTV. You would think that either:

    a) The CCTV operator sees Shoal come in, know that someone is going to try smacking the attendant and follows it everywhere for evidencial purposes.
    b) The CCTV operator remembers when Shoal clamped a child carer picking up a disabled girl from her school bus even though the girl lives in Gunwharf (hence why the bus drops her off there), or maybe when Taxi's refused to drop their high "maintainance fee" paying residents (they really do pay a fortune for the upkeep of communal areas) of Gunwharf because they were getting clamped; and turns the CCTV camera away in case some trys to smack the attendent.

But then Shoal do think they are immune to the law

Credit where its due though; Shaol actually have a REAL ADDRESS in their domain whois!

No credit for the domain Whois, they were originally listed as a non trading individual and opted out showing their address, that was sorted with a complaint to nominet ;) and a complaint to the bpa lol
