If only Microsoft released patches that removed Windows Malware. Oh no they can't as there would be several patches a day!! lolSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

i like the quote in that artical
"It's precisely the kind of cat-and-mouse fight that security companies and Windows malware purveyors have been waging for years. And now, it's coming to the Mac."
the thing is with this is i can see it getting much worse on Mac quite quickly, especailly with more non techie users moving to Mac who have brought into the 'it just works' and 'its virtually virus free' lines that are sprouted so often, and now they have got a £1000 new Mac they will possibly be more willing to spend £30-50 to keep it 'virus free' once a window pops up saying they have been infectedDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Not to mention microsoft not having a history of claiming and advertising immunity to malware.
Would be interested to see that examples of that Apple advertising
Plus, this isn't malware, this is social engineering. You could compromise any software through social engineering.....Windows users can become infected by clicking on a link in their email, or visiting a website.
Not the case with this one, no matter how you want to play it out.0 -
