I can see you inviting them round on Christmas Eve, having a sing-song around the old Joanna (obviously keeping your neighbour at a good distance from your son for legal reasons).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. As far as I know if they have signed for it, and deny that they have it, you can lodge a complaint at the police station. It is called ...errmm.... theft!!!!
But I agree with previous posters, I doubt that someone would sign for a mattress and not let you have it!
Perhaps it will help put some past history to rest!!! .... <--- Ha ha ... get it??? ... ha ha ..... lol!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry... just read the rest of the posts!! ...errmm..... saw that you had got it!! ... anyways... glad you did!! "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0 -

I remember the problem about the hedge. I am amazed how helpful they have been to you. Perhaps you standing your ground and showing them you won't put up with their hassle did the trick.0 -
Sounds like your problems with your neighbour mey have been short lived.
May I susggest a Christmas card just to say "Thank you and a merry Christmas" goes through their door? It would set up neighbourly relations for the new year.
Neighbours are funny things. One set of neighbours next to a property I rent out were infamous in the area for winding people up, throwing their weight around and just being difficult with typical neighbour issues.
I have never had a problem with them as I adopted the polite but assertive approach with them. On one occasion he did come around ranting because I was using a hammer renovating the property and he was trying to get some sleep - he was on shifts, so it was during the day.
I simply said to him that of course I was prepared to discuss it. We reached an agreement very quickly and advised him that if there were any more issues we could of course both approach them like adults.

Sorry I was not aware of the 'hitting your son' incident and you are well in order ignoring them.
Glad you got the mattress off the neighbours without any real problems and yes I to would not waste a Christmas card on them either.
All the best.
PS: I'm note sure you've got enough christmas icons in my signatureRegards,
Dave
