Was just having a play and you can go to Dublin from Birmingham for 3.99 (but it's £20 for an infant and there's an online booking fee) and the return fare is the same.

Why do that do that! We have an 'infant' too and we can get really cheap flights for all of us but the baby costs more than the whole lot combined! :-( see as she will be sat on my lap its crazy!

Check around for alternatives. Ryanair's frequently dearer than other airlines now, when you add in all their extra charges.

And do you really want to fly with an 'airline' like Ryanair that thinks it knows better than the Civil Aviation Authority when it's safe to fly, and when it isn't? Would you really trust Michael O'Leary to make decisions like that - or do you think he might be just a little bit biased, taking into account the cost to Ryanair of keeping its planes on the ground?

Not with a very long bargepole, thanks.
  • i checked yesterday and found a good price, went to show hubby today and its gone, were only flying to Ireland (cork), its now more expensive...thought it would stay same in offer period...?
is it worth waiting till monday and checking again, is it cos its the weekend??

Your choice - not mine. Perhaps you could tell us all, though, just how you can - at this time - book two return flights to France for £8, including all the extras. Send us a link.

I'd rather pay just a little more and get there safely, and without Ryanair deciding it knows more about when its safe to fly than the authorities do.
