Although my tastes are prob a bit weird and I am quite happy working out to the likes of
American pie
Love story
Bad romance
Summer of 69
etc..
Nothing dancy, hard rock but prob something cheesy or classic to sing along too.
(although I do try not to sing in gym!)
Anyone got any suggestions?

Can't help much there, I think gym music should have a bit of pace to it so it's either dance or a certain kind of metal music. I'd find cheesy songs very hard to run to :rotfl:
Happy hardcore (commercial, like scooter not the obscure thing) is very good to run to but probably too dancy for you. I have no music taste at all but the baby loves itMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

my favourite gym song is Push it by Garbage
And I also like working out to Euphoric Dance0 -
Gym music needs to be up tempo - otherwise you get slower and slower!! I don't use a gym, but coach athletes and in winter we do some killer circuits. I now have a massive collection of house/garage/ rave music as it keeps them going when everything hurts! The other side of this is that i quite like it now.... get some strange looks when driving along with some of it in the car, as I'm, shall we say, the wrong side of 50.... :rotfl::rotfl:0

As per my choice I like rocking music in gym as by listening those songs I felt myself full of energy.0

Bat out of Hell by Meatloaf.....once had a lady who delivered her baby to that and that like running a marathon!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
how about some podcasts ? Ive found these to be great when exercising as there are no breaks in the music. I normally go for dance/ house music due to the tempo but im sure that there are many podcasts out there catering for all sorts of music0

my best gym album is Queen Greatest Hits volume 1
every song is a classic, and the pace of all is pretty similar. I once went for a run while listening to a coldplay album that someone had lent me, and it was the slowest i've ever been :rotfl:I felt like my 4k route would never end

Personally, i think a playlist made up entirely of Bon Jovi is appropriate for any occasion.
I should probably see a doctor about this :PMortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

I used to love running to Basement Jaxx. I found the beat really helped me keep up my pace!
