unfortunately you have to buy drinks onboard most short/med hauls, cant take on drinks thesedays . for food best option to save money is remove the rubbish £20 approx in flight meals off your booking and make your own food for pre boarding AND inflight - youll save a fortune , most meals are optional but they automatically add them unless you ask! plus take your own headphones if on sad thomas cook flights ... lol what cheapskates TC are making you pay for headphones . and if travelling light to hot countries taking light short and tee's , then remove some optional bagagge too . all that lot could total £100 ;-)0

if you want to eat QUALITY FOOD on a budget in liverpool city centre before flying , id recommend tribeca for authentic pizza [on slater st , £5] , kimo's [north african/mid eastern food cheap on myrtle st] , viva mexi-go [mexican burrito's bold st £4] . and near enough opposite airport entrance is fairly big retail park with McD's , boots , pizza hut and more on . city centre is 15 mins frim airport driving .0
