Liverpool Airport

We're off on holiday in June and our flight leaves at 7am, so we'll be getting to the airport around 5.
Just wondered if anyone had been to Liverpool airport at this time and noticed if any shops were open for some breakfast/drinks/magazines etc?

I know some airports like Manchester open shops 24/7 but with Liverpool not being as big, I'm not so sure?

Thanks!

There should be a good number of flights in the first wave of departures at around that time, easyJet and Ryanair do like to get their aircraft in the air first thing and places should be open.

Yeah I had a look on there and it says they 'tend' to open from the first flight, and not all shops do so was just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience of whats open, because otherwise I'll buy things before we go.

    Thanks anyway.

Liverpool is my fav airport as well. In Manchester you feel like cattle being herded into a pen since they did the new shop layout. In Liverpool there is far more space to move about and staff are much more friendly IMO. Have a great time.

Frankie and Benny's should be open and the breakfast options in that particular outlet are really good.

Well if you want to money save as one poster has suggested we should on this forum - I always buy a Boots meal deal as I usually fly RyanAir or easyJet from Liverpool. Much cheaper than buying food and drinks on board

Definitely lots of shops open at Liverpool airport in the wee hours including the Duty Free (not cheap at all!), Wetherspoons, WHSmiths, Boots, the bar too
