As there's STILL stuff being put out in the 70% off Clearance Section, maybe we could have a thread for it...

To start off - Carlisle branch this afternoon:

Selection of 3 different 'Optima' picnic baskets, complete with quality plates, cutlery, flasks, wine glasses, cooler bags, table cloth and napkins etc in proper whicker picnic basket: 4 Place Setting size Reduced from £150 to £30:

Also spotted a Siemens Porsche blender reduced from £120 to £30.

There were three £40 coffee machines eligible for £40 rebate there yesterday, but unsuprisingly they had gone this morning!

Went into Beatties Solihull (now House of Fraser) today to look at Thomas stuff for my little boy. At the moment some of it has 30% off but I'm waiting and hoping it will go cheaper.

On the way out tootled past the china department and had a quick look in the Swarovski cabinet to see what to ask hubby to buy for my birthday. Nothing caught my eye until I spotted another very empty cabinet with a few pieces in and a big 50% off sign.

Came away with a coloured Swarovski train reduced from £64.00 to £15.00, a large elephant reduced from £189 to £45.00 and a disney figure reduced from £139 to £30. Skipped out of the shop as no one ever reduces Swarovski very much and I only have the small items in my collection.

Not bad to spend £90.00 on nearly £400 worth of stuff.

No, 10% off only on first two days of sale.

They've already gone to "Further Reductions"

  • went into HoF yesterday to buy an Ironing board that I saw on saturday. It was a Brabantia with a steam generator holder. I remembered that it had a 30% banner on it. They still had the display model out with 30% banner, but I was told that they did not have any left. I went to SA to find out if they had anymore coming in and was told that they had 4 in Victoria but the actual discount was only 20%! i.e £50 reduced to £40. In the end they agreed to sell me the display one for 30%, actually 20% discount and 10% off the balance so £36. nothing wrong with it and it is a fantastic board so I am pleased. I specifically went back because I saw the 30% banner a couple of days ago.
  • I got a pair of leather shoes from Manchester branch on Sunday
They are Kurt Geiger reduced from £55 to just £5 - bargain summer espedrille style in brown leather lace up.

Lots of menswear rails saying under £20 etc but nearly everything was damaged or returned stuff

A leather jacket was reduced from £270 to £35 but it had one huge rip in it - along with jeans that had clearly been worn and not washed - shirts with rips in them etc - quite disgusted at House of Fraser selling such rubbish

Grey Goose vodka is one of the best vodkas available, sells in Tesco for about £27.

Have just seen a bottle in the reduced Christmas gifts House of Fraser sale at half price £13.xx which seems to me a really good genuine reduction.

The only snag is that it's orange flavoured.

Hope this helps someone. I saw it in the Croydon branch.
