The mobile companies say that using the service ends your right to return, because the DSR says that goods supplied with a service are exempt from the moment the service begins.
I don't believe that this has been tested yet, but in the meantime you will rely on their deciding to make an exception to their terms.

Note that some providers give you are specific time to try the service within which you can cancel (eg O2 give you 14 days). So it's a good idea to check returns policy before signing up. Unless you are very sure about coverage, handset and suitability of contract.0 -

And yes, I'll just have to wait for their assessment on the signal issue.
Not sure what the second line team will say thought - website shows strong signal area for my work place, and I get 1 bar if I leave my phone on a desk. Disappears as soon as I pick it up...
