since starting doing this three weeks ago- i have cut my food bills to less than £50 a week so very chuffed! Thats for three adults,me and oh, and our 18 yr old son who is a veggie

I never put breakfasts or lunches, as we all work, so breakfast is weetabix and lunches are packed sandwiches and fruit.

thurs- gammon new potatoes and veg
fri -cheese and potatoe pie, beans
    sat -meatballs and spagetti
    sun - pie, mash cabbage
The opposite of what you know...is also true

    Monday 31st- Pasta bolognase
Tuesday - dinner at parents (they're back from holiday and want to catch up!)
Wednesday - bolognase on toast, left overs part 1
Thursday - bolognase left over part 2 turned into chilli, on jacket potato
Friday - stuffed pepper (you guessed it, stuffed with the last of the left over bolognase)
Saturday - dinner with OH at his place.
Sunday - roast pork at DS and BIL
    Monday...not bolognase!

Not having a freezer means having to eat the same thing all week when one lives alone!
  • Love all your ideas, would it be possible to have some of the recipes? Could you link them in when you do the next menu plan?

    Many thanks.
