I'm banned!

I don't know where else to post this but i've had real problems getting on here today. i'm being told my IP address has been banned but i can't think of anything i've done to warrant that?

I haven't been offensive or been spamming, i cannot get a reply from an administrator or webmaster. I'm lucky to be able to get on here to post this thread.

Im hoping someone could maybe tell me why this is happening (of course I may not be able to read the replies)as i really have no idea

any help appreciated

Could be a temporary spam ban.
Sometimes server filters will ban a whole IP range if believes its associated with spam emails etc. I recall having similar issues on the demon network some time ago. email webmaster@moneysavingexpert.com. to check.

I had exactly the same yesterday (Sunday). I sent a mail to the administrator, but got no reply. Later I was able to log-on with no problem - I assume this is the same for you, as you have posted this ! :rolleyes:

So what was that all about then ?

I had to change my IP address and then i was allowed in temporarily, then I was banned again?

Today I'm on another PC so its let me in:j

Of course, there may be more of us but as they can't get in they can't let us know, hope its not going to keep happening as its a real pain:mad:

Just like the above posters i've just only just got here to leave this note.

One thing I have noticed it only effects the forum side of the site, you can access the main site.

Also It also tells me this last time I came and looked at the site. This time was when I was banned.

There is not point sending an email to the webmaster, i 've sent emails they
are ignoring me.

Can someone at MSE Towers get this looked at please.

I won't be back at my PC at home till tomorrow , but I am also with Tiscali - all I can remember of the IP address is that it begins with 85. The only thing I have done is to install IE7 on Saturday - which I guess is just a coincidence.

Mine is banned I'm with Tiscali I can see a link here. not sure of my IP address though? Can't that be found out by user names?

I'm also not at home right now so don't know IP address and I also installed IE7 very recently, I tried uninstalling it but it didn't correct the problem
