Hi,

Has anyone used Easyjet and have had to input the information online. I have made a booking to Budapest and they have asked the below for 18 people that I must now fill in. Slightly concerned that if i get a digit wrong for someone or they give me an incorrect passport number or something that they will be unable to fly!!?? Anyone had the below before for a large party going away?

This advance information is required for may destinations now, good reason not to be the person making a booking for 18!

Could you just ask to see the passports when you visit the people and write the info down yourself, then you know it is correct?
  • I wont be able to get around seeing all people flying now unfortunately so the only thing i can think of doing is getting people to text and email me the relevant info, but then its the case of whether they put down the correct data and i then enter this data online correctly without making one mistake!

get everyone to email the detail to you.

then copy and paste from the emails.

that way - any mistakes will be the sender's. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Agree with Ferf :) I booked our holiday in June with easyjet and filled this in last week for the 4 of us. I was absolutely petrified that I'd put something in wrong and someone won't get to fly. Fingers crossed it's all right because I'm always really paranoid about that kind of thing.
  • The easiest way is to get them all to do their own booking on the same day, say a saturday or a sunday, then they are individually responsible for putting the correct details on Easyjet booking site

This. It's critical you do get this right. But make sure that you make it clear to them how important it is as one wrong number means they don't fly!

I wouldn't take a handwritten note - too easy to misread writing - then it'll be your fault.
Or over the phone - too easy to mishear - then it'll be your fault.

I think the biggest issue you'll face is actually getting the info out of them in time - I don't envy you that task!

From memory I think on the Ryanair site you can add peoples details one at a time so you dont have to do them all on the same day. If its the same on Easyjet, do yours then add the others until all are added. The other option is to get them to input it themselves.

That would require you give them your login info and trust them not to mess about changing other peoples details or rebooking the flight!

i think you can edit it once it is done .

please don't hold me to that statement , but i did a booking for 5 with easy jet last year and i'm pretty sure i could go back and review the info and re enter it . but i cannot be sure

you need to get everyone to email it to you and stress they must check and double the check the info . i'm pretty sure you print the page of the API when you have completed it , so you can then match them up to reassure yourself .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
