ryanair- miss flight and book another?

Hi all, in my absolute stupidity I have booked a two day break for my girlfriend and I to Dublin, but for some reason I completely forgot it coincides with my niece's first birthday party and also the last day of a training course my girlfriend is doing :( I am absolutely gutted.

it's the 9th to the 11th and ive begged the hotel to refund the last day, even though they don't have to because it's in the policy, and i'm trying to get my ryanair flight changed from the 11th to the 10th.

they charge a whopping 25 quid to change a flight which means it works out cheaper to simply book a flight from dublin to stansted the day before and 'miss' the flight on the 11th.

is this okay to do? it wont get me put on any airline black lists or anything will it?

and if anyone has any other ideas, i would love to hear them :) thank you to all reading this.

Yes you can do this no hassle. :) You dont even need to tell them:)
    They dont even care :)
  • As budgetflyer says, especially if you are able to exploit particularly low or promotional fares, the ability to ad hoc disregard a leg of a booking and just use the outbound or inbound leg, or even booking a separate return or one-way as "insurance" (against ash or just perhaps having to curtail a long weekend for possible emergency work commitments) is one of the very very best things about Ryanair's contract with its passengers.

Obviously this could be exploited by unscrupulous passengers with too much money but if you don't tell anyone then we should all be ok for a few more low fares flights yet ;)
